February 25 - Australia: Cairns, Queensland

Another day in bed for me.  Jon wouldn't let me get up, and even brought me lunch in bed.  This cough is really annoying, but I'm feeling better.

Australian Television

We had red curry beef for dinner, with onions and potatoes and rice.  Then we watched Sex And The City on - hello - regular television.  This is one of our favorite HBO shows at home, right along with The Sopranos.  Both of which we miss, so we were psyched to see a preview for it on Aussie TV.  Pretty funny how Australians aren't as puritanical about what's shown on TV as we are in the US.  They're very upfront about sex and the human body.  It's refreshing, actually.  So, naturally, Sex And the City had no edits, but plenty of commercials.  (Figures).
