May 21 - United States: Cedar City, Utah

We really did nothing exciting today.  Lots of sleeping in and hanging out and playing around on the Internet.

Audio Galaxy

Actually, Jon discovered "Audio Galaxy" which Craig told us about this past weekend.  It's a Napster sort of thing that actually attempts to honor copyrights.  We are SO TIRED of the MP3s that we have, so finding a new source of music is definitely key.  And Audio Galaxy was quite a find.  We also looked at Madster and BearShare, but Audio Galaxy met our needs more than the others.  Jon spent a few hours clearing space out of the memory and looking for songs to download.  I'm not kidding that this kept us entertained for hours.  At one point, we had 40 songs queued up to download.

Episode II

At 3:00, we went to the nearby movie theater to see the 3:00 showing of Star Wars: Episode II.  It's been killing Jon that we didn't see it on opening day.  When we got to the theater, we found out that they had a 5:00 in the stadium theater.  So we bought tickets for the 5:00 and went back to the hotel to play with Audio Galaxy some more.

At 4:45, we went back to the theater and settled in for the movie.  The theater wasn't packed, but there were definitely lots of people there.  And lots of big families, but then again this is Utah.  Jon was quite happy with the movie, which is a good thing since Episode I was less than worth the three-hour wait outside the Zeigfeld Theatre in NYC.  I really liked it, too.  In fact, it ended in a way that I can't wait for the Episode III to be released.

Dinner at El Gallo

We went back to El Gallo for dinner because we loved it so much last night.  And then we went next door to the ice cream place because we got 10% off with our ticket stubs.

Stuffed, we went back to the hotel to check on the status of our downloads.  Because we had a slow modem connection, each song took about 30 minutes to download.  But we figured that if we let it run all night, we should get at least 1/2 of the songs downloaded.  So that's what we did.
