February 3 - Australia: Cairns, Queensland

A well-deserved DAY OFF!!!

I woke up at 9:00 and did some work on the Internet and caught up on emails.  Jon didn't get up until 11:45.  We spent the rest of the day taking care of odds and ends.  There's not a lot to do in Cairns on Sundays because everything is closed.  While we ate lunch, we watched a special on Rex Harrison.  Then Jon went to the grocery store and made his pasta sauce.  I watched an old Rex Harrison movie called "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" which was REALLY very good.

I spend the rest of the afternoon catching up on journal entries.  Our fellow "Group A" team members have websites which I want to remember so here they are:

Jon went out for a long run in the evening because he didn't want to do it this morning.  So we had a late dinner of pasta, and settled in to watch "Crimson Tide" on television.
