May 7, 2007: Malpelo to Cocos Island

Today was a travel day, but this time with pretty rough seas. The boat tipped this way and that way and we all did the “surf shuffle” getting from one point to another. I had another scopalomine patch on my neck so my day altered between reading “Running With Scissors” and passing out in various horizontal spots around the boat.

For my own future reference, I’m noting that all I need to pack for liveaboards are basically: bathing suits, shorts, t-shirts, sunscreens and a jacket. No shoes, though. There’s absolutely no need for them. I haven’t worn them since I boarded the boat.
